The rushing of the small brook nearby is filled with energy and the morning light softly falls on fields, half snow and half brown grasses. The air and light have an exciting feel to them and the sounds of the birds all say spring. It won’t be long before my dye buckets will be outside. It feels good to feel the real earth beneath my feet and I look forward to being able to get outside and work on my batik artwork. The yard looks a little bit like the desolation of smog from The Hobbit as the snow recedes, but soon it will be green and bright!
