This Autumn, Mother Nature has been smiling on us. The air is soft and sweet and smells wonderful. Light mists rise from the fields and the mountains are accented with both deep shadows and highlights of sun. The air is a soft caress.
Insects sing loudly their songs before the cold winter will still all. The farm animals greedily graze the soft fall pasture, knowing that with winter it will cease. The apple trees stand loaded with fruit and farm stands are full of nature’s bounty. Soon Mother Nature will turn her harsh winds and cold upon us.
But how fortunate we are to feel the peace given by Mother Nature today.
Rowan Blaisdell is a FB friend of mine and posted this to my wall this morning. We grow market vegetables, in addition to our mushrooms….your work is stunning! So happy I was directed to your site.
