Exuberance of light has arrived with the summer solstice. How filled with ideas for my batik I have been with this strong summer light. I am joyful to be out on these bright days, dyeing my fabric. How much life there is to celebrate — new flowers, fruits, vegetables, birds, bees, and yes, lots of bugs!
