This winter has been so much warmer than most, a sharp contrast to the last two extremely cold with snow. I get to walk with no snowshoes and the landscape has large areas of brown and gold field showing where usually it is all white. We have lots of snow around our house, it faces slightly north and snow seems to like to fall here.
This photos shows the landscape on high where I love to walk and look out on the Adirondack mountains and fields stretched out below.
